At Aptiva Health, our Pain Management department focuses on procedure-based pain management and interventions. Dr. Steven Ganzel heads the department and focuses on diagnosing and effectively treating the root cause of each patient’s pain. For each patient, our goal is to alleviate or minimize the source of a patient’s pain as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Steven Ganzel, DO
Dr. Steven Ganzel is double board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Management. Dr. Ganzel focuses on treating a wide range of painful conditions, diseases, and injuries. Dr. Ganzel takes a comprehensive approach to pain management by conducting a comprehensive physical examination, objective imaging studies, and working tirelessly to diagnose and treat the root cause of patient pain.
Michael Gilbert, PA-C
Michael Gilbert has been a physician assistant for more than 30 years. He has more than 25 years experience as a general orthopedic and orthopedic spine physician assistant. He is skilled in performing a number of in-office procedures, injections, and is a certified custom orthotic technician. Beyond practice, Michael continues to give back as an Adjunct Instructor at Sullivan University’s Physician Assistant Program.
